All Queensland State politicians now official

The Electoral Commission of Queensland has declared the final seats in the Queensland election, with all 93 Members of Parliament now official.

The final results showed the LNP secured 52 seats, with the ALP was elected in 36 seats, Katter’s Australia Party (KAP) in three and The Greens in one.

One seat is held by an Independent (Sandra Bolton, Noosa).

The LNP received 41.52 percent of the first preference votes (1,289,567), with the ALP receiving 32.56 percent (1,011,258).

Other parties which contested the election attracted the following first preference votes:

  • Animal Justice Party: 0.31 percent (9669).
  • Family First: 1.86 percent (57,838).
  • Independent: 1.69 percent (52,657)
  • KAP: 2.44 percent (75,773).
  • Legalise Cannabis Queensland: 1.6 percent (49,636).
  • Libertarian Party of Queensland 0.13 percent (4141).
  • One Nation: 8 percent (248,349).
  • The Greens:  9.89 percent (307,188)
