Sue-Ann Fresneda has been appointed as the next CEO of Master Builders Queensland (MBQ).
The current CEO, Paul Bidwell, announced in February that he would be leaving MBQ in May, 2026.
Ms Fresneda has worked for the organisation for more than 13 years, including four as Deputy CEO.
She said she was excited to step into the position at such a pivotal moment.
“I’m proud to take on the CEO role at such an important time for our industry,” she said. “While we are facing some tough challenges, there’s also a real sense of opportunity ahead.”
Michael Hopkins will step up from his role as Executive Manager – Advocacy & Member Services into the Deputy CEO role.
