McCullough Robertson Lawyers has announced the appointment of another new partner in its burgeoning Sydney office.

Lucy Adamson has joined the firm’s Corporate team. She was previously with Hazelbrook Legal where she spent the last four years as a partner leading a successful practice in funds and financial services licencing, and regulatory matters.

Prior to Hazelbrook Legal, Ms Adamson worked at global and national top tier firms in Sydney including Clayton Utz, Allen & Overy, Gilbert + Tobin and EY.

She has acted for banks, government agencies, insurers, fund managers, start-ups and superannuation entities.

McCullough Roberston Joint Managing Partner Damien Clarke said the continued growth of the Sydney office was integral to McR’s future.

Ms Adamson’s appointment lift’s the firm’s Sydney presence to 18 partners and a team of more than 100 overall.

“Lucy has extensive experience advising on financial services regulation as well as transactions and dealings within the financial services industry, and her appointment is extremely exciting for our domestic and international clients,” Mr Clarke said.

McR Chair of Partners Kristan Conlon said Ms Adamson’s appointment underlined the firm’s commitment to promoting women in leadership as it headed towards its centenary year in 2026.
