Luke Edwards is the new General Manager of Visit Moreton Bay.
Mr Edwards will take the helm at the body which focuses on promoting the Moreton Bay region as an emerging tourism destination.
He has a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the tourism industry with a background in sales, marketing, and business development.
Most recently the Sales and Marketing Manager at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Mr Edwards has also held the positions of General Manager at IFLY Indoor Skydiving and Queensland Business Development Manager at the National Trust of Australia.
Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism CEO Natassia Wheeler said Mr Edwards’ leadership and expertise would contribute to the continued success and growth of Visit Moreton Bay and the whole organisation.
Mr Edwards said as a Moreton Bay local he was eager to implement strategies that would promote the area to the world, showcasing its unique attractions and experiences.
