Corporate Travel Management’s (CTM) Laura Ruffles has stepped back from her role as Executive Director and CEO Australia/New Zealand, Asia, and Europe to allow time to recover from a health issue.
Ms Ruffles will remain actively involved in the business as a key member of CTM’s global leadership team, responsible for customer-facing technology, marketing and events.
CTM’s three regional CEOs of Australia / New Zealand (Greg McCarthy), Asia (Larry Lo), and Europe (Debbie Carling) remain unchanged and now report directly to CTM’s Managing Director Jamie Pherous, as does CEO North America, Kevin O’Malley.
Ms Ruffles’ responsibilities will focus on executing CTM’s customer-facing global technology strategy which forms a major component of its 5 year growth plan, with a number of major new product initiatives already underway.
Mr Pherous thanked Ms Ruffles for her significant contribution as an executive director and senior leader. “Laura lives and breathes CTM and has made an immeasurable contribution to our business’s performance in her contribution to the CTM Board and the Executive Leadership team over many years,” he said. “I am thrilled that Laura will remain actively involved with CTM in a pivotal role that provides her with the flexibility she needs at this time.”
Ms Ruffles said: “I am truly excited to continue working on the key initiatives of the business moving forward whilst rebalancing my time, and I’m excited to continue to advance our proprietary technology solutions to deliver greater benefits for our customers, employees and partners in the future.”
