McCullough Robertson Lawyers (McR) has announced the appointment of Andrew McCormack as a partner in its Brisbane-based Construction and Infrastructure team.
Mr McCormack joins McCullough Robertson this week from Ashurst where he spent four years as a partner.
He has an extensive background across major projects in the infrastructure, energy, resources and property development sectors.
His recent work has been as a lead partner servicing the Queensland Government and the Games Independent Infrastructure Construction Authority.
The appointment strengthens McCullough Robertson’s Construction and Infrastructure team in Brisbane, following recent expansion in Sydney.
McR Joint Managing Partner Damien Clarke said Mr McCormack’s appointment was “extremely exciting” for clients and the firm’s Brisbane office.
“His depth of front-end experience across complex infrastructure and energy projects, and his track record in delivering outcomes for major public and private sector stakeholders will add further strength to our national construction offering,” Mr Clarke said.
“I know our clients will benefit from his strategic and commercial approach.”
McCullough Robertson Chair of Partners Kristan Conlon said Mr McCormack was a highly regarded practitioner in the market and a great cultural fit for McR.
“I know our people and clients will value his collaborative style and commitment to excellence,” she said.
