One of Queensland’s most authentic country celebrations, the Laidley Spring Festival will be back in September 2026.
Join the dog-friendly festival for vibrant street parades, twilight festivities, live music, markets, art and craft shows, and a gardening fair one-hour drive from Brisbane and Toowoomba in the Lockyer Valley.
Highlights include a Bluey Live Interactive Experience, acclaimed Queensland country-pop band The Wet Whistles, and classic and custom cars at the Festival’s iconic Show ‘n’ Shine.
Lockyer Valley Mayor Tanya Milligan said as more Australians seek authentic, regional experiences, slower travel and connections with local communities, events such as the Laidley Spring Festival were increasingly attractive weekend escapes.
“Whether you’re coming for the day or making a weekend of it, you’ll find something to love,” Cr Milligan said.
“It’s colourful, welcoming, incredibly photogenic and packed with genuine country charm.”
On from September 11-12 at Laidley, and Forest Hill September 13. For more information visit www.laidleyspringfestival.com
