Celebrity gardener Graham Ross has been confirmed as one of the “headliners” for the Queensland Garden Show in July.
The 2026 event will be held in Nambour, west of the Sunshine Coast, from July 10 to 12, running across more than seven hectares of the Nambour Showgrounds.
It includes plant showcases, expert advice, landscape design and “hands-in-the-soil” learning for gardeners of every skill level.
According to organisers, more than 25,000 visitors attend the event each year and there are more than 360 exhibitors, including 55 major nurseries offering 60,000 plants for sale each day.
Greenlife Industry QLD Chief Executive Officer Colin Fruk said the 2026 event would honour the show’s much-loved traditions while introducing new experiences and a diverse speaker line-up for visitors.
“Over the years the Queensland Garden Show has grown into one of the Sunshine Coast’s most significant annual attractions, and we’re incredibly proud to host Australia’s largest gardening speaker program,” Mr Fruk said.
Mr Fruk said organisers were “especially excited” to welcome “gardening royalty” Graham Ross in 2026.
Mr Ross is an original cast member of Channel 7’s Better Homes & Gardens garden program and his 2GB radio program The Garden Clinic is Australia’s longest running radio program at 46 years.
Other speakers include Phil Dudman and ABC Gardening Australia’s Sophie Thomson and Jerry Coleby-Williams.
Gates are open daily from 8am to 4pm.
