Join the ultimate foodie road trip and go behind the scenes of one of Queensland’s most celebrated food bowls at the Scenic Rim Farm Gate Trail on Sunday, March 29 from 9am-3pm.
Farmers, producers, winemakers, brewers, distillers, and flavour-makers across the region will open their gates to visitors for a rare opportunity to learn about what goes into making our food.

Visit Australia’s largest Camel Dairy for a paddock to plate experience. Free entry, camel feeding and petting, cafe, farm shop, farm tour & taste, camel rides, cameleer experience and more. A family-run 60-acre property with roots in poultry farming going back to 1945. Guests can wander through the animal nursery – feeding goats, sheep, chickens and ducks, enjoy cuddles with silkies, and hold chicks and ducklings.
Naughty Little Kids goat dairy makes cheese and gelati using the milk from their herd of goats. Products are gluten, egg, nut, soy, coconut, and gelatine free. Attention seeking goats will be looking for pats and you can purchase a bottle to feed them.

A market garden at the base of the Great Dividing Range. Visitors can pick their own seasonal organic produce, feed farm animals, and explore their famous hay bale maze. Pack a picnic blanket and chill by the creek.
A 700-tree olive farm, the perfect place to have a picnic and enjoy live music, brekkie and lunch from the food trucks, coffee, sodas and kombucha. Shop from the 1950s vintage bus “Myrtle” full of farm made goodies, dehydrated citrus, honey and seasonings. Feed the sheep (bring apples and carrots) and explore the olive grove.

For the very first time, Northview Highlands will open its gates to visitors for the first time. Step into a world of shaggy Highland cattle, striking Valais Blacknose sheep and charming (and naughty) pygmy goats. This family-run farm has built a devoted following for its ethical breeding practices, hands-on experiences and country hospitality. Just 10 kms from Boonah, this vineyard’s Chambourcin and Shiraz vines produce Rose styles, a lighter style of Shiraz, Shiraz Verjuice, and their acclaimed Ruby and Tawny Fortifieds.
Perched high on a hill with sweeping rural views, visitors to Vanbery Jam Co. will meet Helen and Jess, and enjoy billy tea and hot scones with a dollop of Rosella Jam. Their Rosella products are grown on their farm and will be available to purchase.
