The iconic Dicky Beach Holiday Park now has a modern amenities building with new toilets, showers and wash areas.
The major upgrade includes a new roof and an improved layout that makes it easier for guests to move through the space.
Sunshine Coast Council Division 2 Councillor Terry Landsberg said the upgrade was an important investment in the community and visitor experience.
“Dicky Beach Holiday Park is a favourite for locals and visitors, and these new facilities make it an even better place to stay,” Cr Landsberg said.
“We’ve created a space that is modern, practical and welcoming for everyone who comes here.
“It’s an improvement that makes a big difference to people’s stay.”
Upgraded pathways and better site access further improve safety and convenience.
Designed for coastal conditions, the facilities use durable materials that will stand up to the environment and support long-term use.
Landscaping and surrounding works have also been completed, helping the new amenities blend in with the natural character of the park.
