More than a million tickets to the 2027 Men’s Rugby World Cup in Australia will be available for under $100.
World Rugby Chair Brett Robinson said the ticketing program for the Cup, which was released today (July 29), was designed to put fans first.
Mr Robinson said making the tournament as accessible as possible for everyone had been a key focus, with ticket prices for adults starting from just $40 for pool matches and $65 to watch the Wallabies in their home tournament.
“More than one million tickets will be available for under $100 across every stage of the tournament,” he said.
Mr Robinon said this included the 14 World Cup matches to be staged in Brisbane (10) and Townsville (4).
“This includes two Round-of-16 matches and two bumper quarter-finals in Brisbane when the tournament reaches the knockout stages.”
He said the first tickets will be on sale in February, 2026, with pre-registration now open at rugbyworldcup.com/2027.
“In total, more than 2.5 million tickets will be made available for this expanded edition which will showcase 24 rugby nations for the first time.”
