Sky-high living and million-dollar views are on offer as the final release of penthouses in a luxury inner-west Brisbane riverside development hit the market.
Six penthouses at the $450 million Monarch Residences development are up for grabs, with price guidelines between $5.75 million and $7.9 million.
Consolidated Properties Group CEO and chairman Don O’Rorke said the final release of the Penthouse Collection was a case of leaving the best until last.
Mr O’Rorke said Monarch Residences, at 600 Coronation Drive, Toowong, had been one of the best received residential projects in company’s 45-year history.
Around 95 percent of the 224 apartments, across the two 15-level towers, had been sold, ahead of an expected construction completion at the end of next year.
“There is no better-connected site in Brisbane with its rail, bus, ferry, pedestrian and cycleway linkages at its doorstep – and we have aimed to deliver apartments, amenities and a design ethos that does justice to the quality of the land and which reflects quintessential Queensland living,” Mr O’Rorke said.
“We have designed each penthouse as a sanctuary right in the heart of the city. They are the epitome of luxury, elegance and security overlooking the Brisbane River.”
Colliers Director of Residential Andrew Scriven said the penthouses were situated on one of Brisbane’s last remaining true riverfront sites, which boasted 1.2ha of landscaped gardens.
“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own such a home of this calibre, with a breathtaking landscape with vistas of the city and 130m of north-facing riverfront,” Mr Scriven said.
He said apartments in the Penthouse Collection ranged in size between 295qm and 347sqm.
“Owners will enjoy expansive, homelike dimensions with access to the Brisbane CBD right outside the front door, all while being elevated and featuring panoramic views of the river and CBD.”
Mr Scriven said the penthouses had been curated in partnership with Melbourne-based Architectural Institute of Australia gold medal-winning architect John Wardle and leading national architectural practice Cottee Parker.
He said elevated ceiling heights, starting at a minimum of 3.2m, created a volume of space, which complemented the openness of uninterrupted views, an abundance of natural light and river breezes.
“In addition, the penthouses feature premium interior finishes which are a blend of quality and functionality, including Herringbone European oak timber flooring, oak finished bespoke joinery, paired with the luxurious Dolce Vita quartzite benchtops and a suite of European appliances.”
Mr Scriven said individualised floorplans allowed each penthouse to showcase its own views and unique features.
Architect John Wardle said when designing interiors for the Penthouse Collection, his team wanted to create a feeling of harmony and connect owners to the Brisbane Riverfront.
“Our design philosophy focuses on creating spaces that harmonise with their surroundings. The Collection not only captures breathtaking views but also embodies the true essence of what it means to live in Brisbane, ensuring residents feel a true connection to the riverfront,” he said.
“Each residence is a testament to modern design capability, sophistication, architectural excellence and remarkable construction.”
