It’s not a mirage – camels, the ships of the desert, are now providing thirsty Scenic Rim visitors with camel milk vodka.

As part of the Scenic Rim Eat Local Month in June, Summer Land Camels have launched their French Oak Matured Camel Milk Vodka.

Crafted from camel milk and whey and matured on French oak, it has rich notes of caramel, toasted oak and malted cream, and is exceptionally smooth with a warming finish.

Made in collaboration with award-winning Imbibis Craft Distillery, the boutique vodka is produced in small batches, and distilled three times to preserve purity and character.

Summer Land Camels CEO and Director Paul Martin said they were striving to lead with innovation grounded in purpose.

“Camel Milk Vodka – French Oak Matured is a celebration of our commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship, and redefining what’s possible in Australian agriculture,” Mr Martin said.

“It’s not just a spirt – it’s a story of transformation, turning what was once overlooked into something extraordinary, much like our camels themselves.”

The Scenic Rim Eat Local Month is an epic month-long celebration of the region’s award-winning producers, makers, farmers, brewers, bakers, and food innovators.

There are more than 100 events to choose from. Choose from 64 on-farm experiences; 25 workshops and classes including brew-your-own classes; almost 50 family friendly options including paddock walks, and 41 long lunches and dinners.
