Surplus equipment and materials from the Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3 are being sold at auction.

Bidding for more than 600 batches of civil construction and industrial equipment starts at $1.

Lloyds Auctions Chief Operations Officer Lee Hames said the sale was a practical opportunity for civil contractors and related trades to acquire usable plant and equipment at competitive prices.

“This auction is the release of a large volume of end-of-project surplus from one of the Gold Coast’s biggest recent infrastructure jobs,” Mr Hames said.

“For civil contractors and related trades, these sales can be a practical way to pick up usable plant and equipment that has already done major project work.”

Bidding is available at www.lloydsauctions.com.au

The first lots close from 10am on Wednesday August 19, 2026, with further lots to follow.
