Taylor Swift has consolidated her place in music history with her 14th number one hit on the Australia charts.

That puts her equal with the legendary Elvis Presley. Only The Beatles at 26 number ones have had more songs in the coveted number one spot.

Swift’s new number one is I Knew It, I Knew You from the Toy Story 5 movie.

Her previous chart toppers have been Love Story in 2009, Shake It Off and Blank Space in 2014, Bad Blood in 2015, Look What You Made Me Do in 2017, Cardigan and Willow in 2020, All Too Well (Taylor’s Version) in 2021, Anti-Hero in 2022, Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version) in 2023, Cruel Summer and Fortnight in 2024, and The Fate of Ophelia last year.

All up, she has now spent 35 weeks at number one on the ARIA charts.

Australian singing sisters Vika & Linda, fresh from supporting Spit Enz on their recent tour, have hit number 11 on the Albums Chart with their ninth studio album Where Do You Come From?

The Bull sisters have now racked up five top 10 albums.

Another long-term Australian act, The Living End, have re-entered the charts at number 35 with I Only Trust Rock N Roll. The album peaked at number five last year.

Former One Direction member Niall Horan has debuted at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart with Dinner Party.

Niall reached number two in 2017 with Flicker, number two in 2020 with Heartbreak Weather and number one in 2023 with The Show.

He was also part of four number one albums with One Direction.
