Singer Bruce Springsteen has released a protest song addressing what he describes as “state terror” being visited on the city of Minneapolis.
The song – Streets Of Minneapolis – was written last Saturday, recorded yesterday and released today, he said in a statement.
“It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbours and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good (who were killed during ICE operations),” Springsteen said.
The song follows previous outspoken criticism by the singer of the Trump administration’s approach to immigration investigations.
