Brisbane’s unique tapestry has been captured by the winners of this year’s Lord Mayor’s Photographic Awards.
The Brisbane City Council has revealed the various category winners of the competition which asked those who lived, worked or studied in Brisbane to capture the city in its best light.
Nigel Cowdery took out the Open category for his image of people on the Story Bridge Climb at sunset.
Judging has also been opened for the People’s Choice Award, after 25 photos were shortlisted.
Those photos can be viewed, and voted on, on the Brisbane City Council website.
