Oscars 2026 – One Battle After Another takes best picture

One Battle After Another was the big winner at the 2026 Academy Awards, taking home the Oscar for Best Picture and several major honours including Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson.

Jessie Buckley won Best Actress for Hamnet, while Michael B. Jordan took Best Actor for his performance in Sinners. The Ryan Coogler-directed drama also performed strongly across multiple categories during the ceremony.
