The long-awaited sequel to the iconic movie The Devil Wears Prada will debut in cinemas on April 30, 2026.

Nearly 20 years after the original was released, The Devil Wears Prada 2 returns with the original cast – Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci.

According to 20th Century Studios, the movie marks a “return to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine” in a sequel to a film that “defined a generation”.

The original film was based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel of the same name.

It follows Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway), a journalism graduate who moves to New York and lands a job as junior assistant to Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly, editor-in-chief of Runway magazine.

The sequel reunites the original main cast with director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna.

It introduces new players including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak and Conrad Ricamora.

Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman also reprise their roles as “Lily” and “Irv” from the first film.

The final trailer for the film is available on YouTube.
