Just as Lenny Kravitz sings It ain’t over till it’s over, he’s returning to Australia for the first time since 2012 with his Blue Electric Light Tour.

The seemingly ageless four-time Grammy Award winning writer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, actor, and all round too-cool for school musician blends rock, funk, reggae, hard rock, soul and R&B like no other.

He is often lauded for being able to transcend genre, style, race and class for more than three decades.

The tour will start in Sydney on November 18, moving to Newcastle on November 19, Brisbane on November 21, Melbourne on November 25, and in Mildura on November 28. He will close the show with a performance at the bp Adelaide Grand Final.

He will be joined by support act Australian ARIA-Award winning rock band JET, fresh from their US tour.

Kravitz has sold more than 40 million records and has worked with Michael Jackson,  Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Madonna and U2.

His mother was an actor and his father was a jazz promoter. He was previously married to Lisa Bonet from The Cosby Show, and they share daughter Zoe Kravitz. He was also briefly engaged to Nicole Kidman from 2003 – 2004.
