Humphrey B. Bear has spent 16 years in hibernation but now he will return to television screens.
Australia’s favourite bear was the star of the country’s longest running children’s show Here’s Humphrey, which ran until 2009 on the Nine Network.
The “funny old fella” will celebrate his 60th birthday when he returns to the screen – still with no pants.
This time he’ll call Channel 7 home where he will team up on South Aussie with Andrew “Cosi” Costello.
Humphrey captured the imaginations of generations of pre-school children without saying a word.
He started life on May 24, 1965 as Bear Bear, and got the name Humphrey from a viewer competition, but retained the B as a nod to his roots.
On 7Plus live stream or Channel 7 Adelaide at 5.30pm on Sundays.
