The rising Aussie artists to be mentored by Grammy-nominated producers Tommy Brown and WondaGurl have been named.
ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd said 10 successful artists had selected for the first rounds of ARIA Collab, a program designed to catapult Australian talent onto the global stage through high-impact collaborations with international producers.
Ms Herd said the local talent would take part in week-long studio sessions with the producers who had worked with the likes Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, BTS, Rihanna, Travis Scott and Drake.
“ARIA Collab is about creating moments that shift careers. These artists aren’t just heading into the studio, they’re stepping into a global conversation,” she said.
“Working with producers like Tommy Brown and WondaGurl gives them a rare opportunity to craft music that will resonate far beyond Australia’s borders.”
WondaGurl said she had always been drawn to artists who brought something fresh and unexpected to music.
“Australia has such an incredible pool of talent. Going through the selection process was tough because there was so much creativity to choose from, but I’m excited to finally connect with these artists in-person and bring our ideas to life.”
