Bluey’s World has opened in Brisbane, taking fans inside the home of the world’s most famous blue heeler.
Located across 4000sqm of the custom-built Northshore Pavilion, in the inner-northern suburb of Hamilton, the immersive event offers a guided experience for families and fans of the hit animated TV show.
BBC Studios ANZ Director Brands and Licensing Kate O’Connor said Bluey’s World was one of the largest and most ambitious immersive events to be staged in Australia.
Ms O’Connor said a host of dignitaries and special guests were on hand at the opening ceremony.
“With innovative set designs, interactive games, and activities for children and adults alike, Bluey’s World has been carefully curated to mirror the spirit of the series, encouraging creative play and connection.” she said.
“We’re thrilled to throw open the Heeler’s front door and welcome families to Bluey’s World.”
Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said Bluey showcased the best of Brisbane.
“The highly-anticipated Bluey’s World experience will bring fans from across the world to Brisbane, creating more to see and do in our city, boosting our economy and supporting local jobs.”
