Bluey’s World in Brisbane has been given a two-year extension of its temporary facility at Hamilton Northshore.
More than half a million international and domestic visitors have been to Bluey’s World since it opened in 2024, generating more than $156 million for Queensland’s economy.
Queensland Minister for Environment and Tourism Andrew Powell said Bluey, a children’s television cartoon created in Brisbane, had become one of Queensland’s greatest global success stories.
Mr Powell said Bluey’s World demonstrated the power of backing local stories and turning them into world-class visitor experiences.
“Families are travelling from across Australia and around the world to experience Bluey’s World, and now they’ll be able to keep doing so until 2028,” he said.
