The hit Broadway musical A Beautiful Noise: the Neil Diamond Musical is coming to Brisbane in 2027.

It will open at QPAC’s Lyric Theatre on March 20, 2027.

Tickets will be on sale to the general public at 9am on Friday, September 4 via qpac.com.au with the official waitlist now open at www.theneildiamondmusical.com.au

The musical was created with Neil Diamond’s help and tells the story of “how a kid from Brooklyn became a chartbusting, show-stopping American rock icon and one of the most successful and beloved performers of all time”.

Over his six-decade career, Diamond has sold more than 140 million albums, and has a long list of top 10 hits, including the iconic singalong tune Sweet Caroline.

Before illness stopped him touring, Diamond undertook seven major concert tours in Australia – in 1976, 1992, 1996, 1999, 2005, 2011 and 2015.

His 1972 live album, Hot August Night, spent 29 weeks at number one on the Australian charts in 1973 and 1974.

“Some of my most thrilling nights have been while sharing my music with audiences around the world,” Diamond said in a statement released today.

“A Beautiful Noise has already had an incredible journey on Broadway and is currently touring across the US I hope Australian audiences enjoy the show as much as I have.”

The musical is presented in Australia by producers Paul Dainty and TEG Dainty, Ken Davenport and Bob Gaudio.
