Business Chamber Queensland is conducting research into how women’s working lives, career pathways and workforce participation are evolving.

Chamber CEO Heidi Cooper said the Future of Women in Business survey invited businesses across the state to share their perspectives and help shape future programs, services and support.

“The outcomes will help businesses and policymakers make better decisions that support growth, workforce participation, and long-term economic prosperity,” Ms Cooper said.

“We want to better understand how women’s working lives and career pathways are changing and turn those insights into practical support that strengthens businesses and communities across the state.

“Through our partnership with Australian Retirement Trust, we can gather the insights needed to better understand what supports women at different stages of work and life.

“Those findings will help us shape the resources, services and initiatives that make it easier for women to build careers, grow businesses and contribute to Queensland’s economic future.”
