Canadian artist Drake has become the first artist to have three new top 10 albums in the Australian charts in the same week.
Iceman debuted at number one, Maid Of Honour at number five and Habibti at number six.
It was the first time this feat had been achieved since the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) charts started in 1983.
Previously Guns N’ Roses scored a double in 1991 when Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II debuted at number one and two respectively in the same week.
Bruce Springsteen pulled off the same result in 1992 with Human Touch and Lucky Town.
Drake has now scored 16 solo and collaborative top 10 albums.
The simultaneous release of three albums is reportedly a deliberate tactic to split 43 songs into three separate releases rather than creating one massive playlist.
This allowed Drake to target the top three spots on the Billboard 200 simultaneously and break multiple records. Each album caters to a distinct fan base – rap, melodic R&B and dance music.
New Drake tracks are also flooding the singles chart with National Treasures at four, Janice STFU at five, Whisper My Name at six, Make Them Cry at nine and Dust at 10.
All up, 15 Drake songs are in the top 50 of the ARIA charts this week.
Michael Jackson’s Thriller still holds number one on the ARIA On Replay Albums Chart and he is also at number two with Bad. Jackson’s Billie Jean tops the singles chart, with Beat It at number two.
