Two multi-million-dollar Alliance Airlines aircraft hangars are up for sale at Brisbane Airport, in “a once-in-a-generation” opportunity.
The fully operational hangars have direct runway access, marking one of the few times existing runway-connected hangars have been presented to the open market at Brisbane Airport.
The hangars are tipped to attract strong interest from aviation operators and high net-worth investors, according to Colliers industrial experts James Wilkie, Angus Yule and Louis Jorgensen who are managing the expressions of interest.
“Only 10 hangars at Brisbane Airport have direct runway access, making the offering exceptionally scarce in what is already one of Australia’s most tightly held aviation precincts,” Mr Wilkie said in a statement.
“With aviation demand continuing to grow, we expect significant interest from operators looking to secure long-term positioning in Brisbane as the Olympics approach.”
The two standalone hangars at Pandanus Avenue provide a combined 7,260sqm of gross lettable area across more than 24,000sqm of land, with approximately 160 metres of airside frontage and direct access to the taxiway on the eastern side of the runway.
