New Salvation Army leaders for the Bayside Corps

The Salvation Army has announced the appointment of Major Nathan and Captain Kylie Hodges as new leaders of the Brisbane Bayside Corps in Alexandra Hills.

Major Nathan and Captain Kylie Hodges have served as Salvation Army Officers for 15 years and 14 years respectively and have recently moved to the Redlands community with their three children and their dog.

The have led multiple churches, been involved with regional youth and children’s work, and have been in recruitment roles in NSW, ACT, South Australia, and now Queensland.

Before entering the Salvation Army, Major Nathan was a youth worker and in recent years he has been involved with those experiencing hardship and homelessness.

Captain Kylie was previously a primary school teacher, and her love of encouraging children to fulfil their potential drives her ministry today.
