When a friend buys a piece of expensive art, personal taste gets dissected along with friendships and egos in the internationally award-winning comedy play ART at QPAC from March 11, 2026.
The play stars three of Australia’s best actors – Richard Roxburgh (Rake, The Correspondent, Elvis), Damon Herriman (Better Man, Mr Inbetween, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), and Toby Schmitz (Boy Swallows Universe, Gaslight, Grief is the Thing with Feathers).
ART, which won the Tony Award for Best Play and the Olivier Award for Best Comedy, is touted as a “razor-sharp comedy about friendship, ego, and the chaos a single opinion can cause.”
Written by Yasmina Reza and translated by Christopher Hampton, it explores how the smallest unspoken things can spiral into something much larger.
It runs until Sunday, March 22. For tickets, click here.
