Fresh from winning Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards, Olivia Dean has reclaimed the number one spot on the Australian Recording Industry Association Albums Chart.
Her The Art Of Loving climbed back from the number two position, making it eight non-consecutive weeks on top.
Dean also secured 12 straight weeks at number one on the ARIA Singles Chart with Man I Need,.
This makes it the longest running number one single by a solo female artist since Miley Cyrus’ Flowers in 2023. Dean’s So Easy (To Fall In Love) rose from number four to number two.
Other ARIA chart movements last week were:
- Don Toliver new at number four with Octane
- The release of physical versions sent Lily Allen’s West End Girl from number 63 back to the number six peak it achieved last year.
- The soundtrack to the final season of Netflix’s Stranger Things debuted at number 11 on the Albums Chart as well as number one on the Vinyl Chart. It includes tracks from ABBA, Tiffany, David Bowie, Butthole Surfers, Iron Maiden and Cowboy Junkies.
- Ocean Alley’s Love Balloonwent from from number 22 to number 12 on the Albums Chart
- Brisbane band Radium Dolls’ Wound Up is new at number 17 on the Albums Chart
