It’s less than a month until the race that stops the nation so hold onto your hats and gather your sweeps for our roundup of the glitziest functions around Brisbane where you can still snag a ticket.
Here is our list of venues that have available* tickets for Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in alphabetical order:
The Bistro at Victoria Park is perhaps one of the most relaxed ways to celebrate the cup, with no set menus or minimum spends for smaller groups. Groups under 20 can book online and order a-la-carte. Larger groups of up to 50 guests can select from a group dining package starting from $32 per person. There will be live music and screening of the race.
Blackbird has a Riverside Soiree with canapes, a grazing station, and a 3.5 hour beverage package. Live trumpet performances and sets from CATTI. $258pp from 11.30am.
The Boatshed at the Regatta Hotel, Toowong will run a 3-course menu with 3-hour beverage package. $215pp from noon-3pm.
The Boundary Hotel, West End has a special luncheon package for non-drinkers which includes a 3-course meal with an antipasti board and your choice of main from 11.30am-2.30pm. $80pp or $140pp with the drinks package.
The Eatons Hill Hotel will host two events. The Rooftop Party includes a gin spritz on arrival, hot and cold grazing stations, a 3-hour beverage package, a live DJ, sweeps, and prizes for the best dressed. $135pp from noon-3pm. The Gala Luncheon at the Hills Room runs from 11.30am-3pm and includes a glass of prosecco on arrival, a seated three-course feasting menu, and a three-hour beverage package. There will also be fashions on the field, live entertainment and sweeps. $175pp.
Fridays is offering two packages. Their silver cocktail style package includes roaming canapes and drinks, a best-dressed competition, live race coverage, live band and DJ. $89pp. Doors open at 11.30am, with the drinks package from noon-2pm. The Gold Package is $149pp and includes a sit-down 3-course meal, with drinks.
The Hamilton Hotel has three different Melbourne Cup events. There’s a two-course luncheon at Winnies ($79pp) from 11.30am-3pm; a Marquee Garden Party with a 3-hour canapes and drinks package ($99pp) from noon-3pm; and a private luncheon at H Lounge with a 3-course menu and 3-hour drinks package ($169pp) from noon-3pm.
Howard Smith Wharves has a range of packages from casual settings to more lavish banquets. Mr Percivals has seafood and canapes, and a 3.5 hour drinks package. $290pp from 11.30am-3pm. Felons Barrel Hall is offering a Thai set menu and 3-hour beverage package with live music and DJs. $190pp from 11.30am-2.30pm. Ciao Papi has an Italian share-style 3-course menu paired with drinks from noon-3pm. $270pp.
The Normanby Hotel has a “Premium 3-hour Beer Garden Package” with roaming canapes, flowing drinks, live entertainment, fashions on the field, entry prizes and more from noon-3pm. $189pp.
The Star Brisbane has a function centre and restaurants which will hold celebratory lunches. Japanese restaurant Sokyo is offering a five-course shared menu, a 3-hour beverage package, fashions off the field, and live entertainment from noon-3pm. $249pp. The Event Centre has an alternate drop 3-course plated menu, a 3.5 hour beverage package, and an acoustic performance by Ricki-Lee. $280pp from 11.30am-3pm. Italian restaurant Cucina Regina’s menu includes a 4-course banquet, 3-hour beverage package, and live entertainment from noon – 3pm. $225pp.
The Terrace Rooftop Bar at the Emporium South Bank includes a four-hour food and beverage package, and champagne and oysters on arrival. Proceeds go towards the Mater Foundation. $290pp from 11.30am – 3.30pm.
