Queen’s Wharf will host markets every Thursday, starting from September 4, as part of a move to make the development cheaper and more family-friendly.

The move comes as new owners of the development, Far East Consortium and Chow Tai Fook, aim to add budget-friendly experiences instead of just luxury offerings.

Brisbane City Markets will run the stalls at the George Street entry from 8am to 2pm, in addition to their current offerings in Reddacliff Place on Wednesdays, and Cathederal Square on Thursdays.

There will be a premium selection of fresh and local produce, along with artisan finds, gourmet street eats to grab and go, and live music.

Vendors include Mas and Noey with artisanal eats, coffee, cinnamon rolls and street food; Fable Distilling with their own gin and vodka; and Saintx Perfumery with oil-based fragrances.
