The Maleny Music Festival lineup for 2025 promises a weekend of unforgettable music with 60 acts across seven stages and 150 concerts, dances, and workshops.
Whether you’re camping under the stars, or visiting for the day, the 12th annual celebration of grassroots talent includes the sounds of traditional folk, Irish, blues, and Americana, to original songwriting, poetic storytelling and world-class musicianship.
Festival Director Rachel Clarke said this year the Festival had introduced a Youth Showcase on Friday night.
“We wanted to try something to give the younger artists their own spotlight with the aim of attracting a young audience that evening,” Ms Clarke said.
“I love the size of the Festival, it’s small enough that you can easily walk around, but it’s jam-packed with music and variety, just like the bigger festivals.
“Yet it still gives you the vibe and intimacy of a smaller event.
“There’s a strong community feel. You can bring an instrument and join in at the sessions tent, help make lanterns, or just connect with others.
“We’ve got a strong lineup this year – old favourites, and lots of new talent in the mix too, from our folk roots to contemporary vocalists and sensational party bands to finish the night on.”
Headline acts include: Andy V, The Jar, Tyde, Dojo Rise, Apololine, Caroline Hammond Duo, Tin Star, Mark Easton, Soua, Round Mountain Girls.
The Festival will run from November 7-9. For tickets, click here.
