Businesses dealing with change, growth and resilience are the target audience for an expo on the Sunshine Coast next week.
Kristina Karlsson, founder of stationery company kikki.K, will be the keynote speaker at the free Thriving Through Change Business Expo, at the Maroochy RSL on Wednesday, August 27.
Sunshine Coast Mayor Rosanna Natoli said the event was a vital platform for business people to come together, share insights and harness the opportunities that change brought.
“It’s a chance to build connections, learn new skills and prepare for the future in a supportive environment,” Mayor Natoli said.
“Whether you’re a startup founder, a seasoned operator, or part of a business support network, Thriving Through Change is your opportunity to gain fresh insights and walk away with practical tools to thrive.”
She said attendees would discover a vibrant ecosystem of support, with more than 35 exhibitors from all levels of government, industry and education ready to connect businesses with the tools, programs and networks they needed to prosper.
Mayor Natoli said Ms Karlsson would provide a behind the scenes look at her entrepreneurial journey – from navigating financial hurdles and building a purpose-driven team, to staying true to her values through every twist and turn.
She said the event would also include a panel discussion featuring local business leaders, including White’s IGA director Roz White, Kenilworth Country Bakery founder Jenna Sanders, Maleny Dairies former CEO Stephen Tait, Mills Toyota owner and dealer principal Brett Mills and Indepth Accounting director Renee Cooper.
Registrations are required for the free event.
