The Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival could be where your self-control goes to die in 2025.
A general admission ticket will get you access to live cooking demos from celebrity chefs, tastings from producers and winemakers, live music and general festival fun.
City of Moreton Bay Mayor Peter Flannery said the foodie festival’s continued growth reflected the city’s commitment as a premier destination for major events.
“Last year’s event sold out and it’s no surprise why; this festival has fast become a standout on Queensland’s events calendar,” Councillor Flannery said.
“We’re excited to welcome thousands of visitors to City of Moreton Bay this August to experience our local food producers and everything else that our spectacular foreshore and hospitality has to offer.”
There will also be a marketplace with more than 60 stalls selling gourmet food, local produce, and premium beverages.
Catch some of Australia’s leading chefs, such as Miguel Maestre, Julie Goodwin, Mike Reid, Alastair McLeod, Matt Golinski, Simone and Viviana, Aunty Dale Chapman, Mel Alafaci, and Dominique Rizzo as they cook up bold flavours and unexpected pairings.
The cooking demonstrations are a place where you can learn from the experts and gain some culinary inspiration.
Extra ticketed events include long lunches and high teas; and masterclasses on cheese, wine and spirits.
The Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival will run from August 22-24 at Apex Park, Woody Point.
