They say that sculptures tell their own unique stories and you can catch more than 80 of them at Queensland’s largest sculpture exhibition on Currumbin Beach.
The free 10-day SWELL Sculpture Festival 2025 marks the 23rd exhibition that celebrates connecting people, art, and place, as 1.2km of the beach is transformed into an outdoor gallery experience.
Set between two iconic giant rock formations along the Gold Coast’s Currumbin Beach, the vast coastal landscape will showcase the work of 230 Australian and international artists.
In addition to more than 80 large scale sculptures, there will be a gallery of smaller scale works of art, accompanied by live music on various nights.
Learn about the artists’ creative process and gain a deeper understanding of the pieces by attending artist talks.
There will also be guided walks, yoga and pilates classes, painting and sculptural workshops, plus pop-up exhibitions run in conjunction with the Festival across the Gold Coast.
