Former journalist and experienced non-executive director Ashley Howden is the new CEO of South-East Queensland disability care provider Your Home Care.
After serving as interim CEO for the past three months, Your Home Care Chairman Linda Delamotte said Mr Howden would be made permanent.
“Ashley joined Your Home Care in 2023 as a member of the Advisory Board and brings with him more than two decades of executive leadership experience across the healthcare, technology, sport, professional services, and FMCG sectors in Australia, New Zealand, South-East Asia and the UK,” Ms Delamotte said.
She said Mr Howden was a former journalist, with a career that spanned marketing service agencies in London through to senior roles in media, technology, and software.
“He is also a seasoned non-executive director and currently serves on the boards of Visit Sunshine Coast, the Sunshine Coast Business Awards, and several private companies across the region and internationally.”
Ms Delamotte said his leadership had already had a positive impact on the ogranisation.
“Ashley understands the heart of our organisation, the importance of putting clients first and supporting our people to deliver the highest standards of care,” she said.
Mr Howden said he was delighted to step into the role full-time and looked forward to leading Your Home Care into its next chapter.
“Your Home Care exists to make a difference in people’s lives, and that purpose drives everything we do,” Mr Howden said.
