Queenslanders only have days left to help shape the vision of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

A public survey, which aims to capture how locals want the Games to impact their communities before, during and after the Games closes on Friday (June 20).

Brisbane 2032 President Andrew Liveris said he wanted as many people as possible to have input into the Games Vision, which would guide every aspect of planning.

“We have spread this survey far and wide, across the state, country and even overseas,” Mr Liveris said.

He said the Games would place a spotlight on Brisbane and the State and organisers wanted to make sure its legacy reflected the aspirations of all Queenslanders.

“This survey is your chance to shape a vision of how we deliver not only a great Games, but an enduring legacy for Queensland and Australia.”

Mr Liveris said the survey had been one of several channels used to gather public feedback, which included workshops held across the state over a number of weeks.

He said after Friday work would begin on refining themes that have emerged from the consultation process and creating the Games Vision document, which was expected to be released by the end of the year.

“This is an exciting time, with the essence of our Games being shaped as we speak and I’m looking forwarding to seeing how the ‘Queenslander’ spirit is reflected in vision.”
