What is your vision for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games? Games organisers want to know.

Brisbane 2032 President Andrew Liveris has announced a new community survey allowing “communities across Australia to have their say and help shape the Games Vision”.

Mr Liveris said the Games Vision would be the driving force behind the success of the Games and legacies beyond and he encouraged all Australians to have their say.

“While Brisbane and Queensland will play host to a majority of the Games, these will be a Games for all Australians to be part of and benefit from,” he said.

“In seven years’ time, the eyes of the world will be on our country and we want to ensure that no matter where you are or where you’re from, our collective Games Vision is one of hope, motivation and inspiration.”

Mr Liveris said that the eventual Games Vision would guide every aspect of Games planning, with a number of guidance documents already established to help develop ideas and creativity.

“The strategies and frameworks that Brisbane 2032 and our Games Delivery Partners have in place have been guided by thousands of conversations across Australia and around the world, and that’s given us a great base to start the process of developing our Games Vision.

“We want to make sure though that every Australian has their say on what they think our Games Vision should entail and I’m confident our short and simple survey will help in that process.”

He said the survey would be open until June 20.
