The Brisbane Comedy Festival wraps up this Sunday, May 25, but there’s still time to nab tickets to some non-stop laughs.

With more comedy and more shows than ever before, the 130-strong performances have been running across The Powerhouse, The Tivoli, Fortitude Music Hall and The Princess Theatre.

There are still tickets to see social media sensation Anisa Nandaula who has more than 200,000 followers across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Her show You Can’t Say That navigates the complexities and funny anecdotes of being a black girl in Australia.

Fady Kassab brings his acclaimed show to Brisbane where he dishes on his Fady Issues as he cracks jokes from his unfiltered mind.

There’s also the award-winning identical twin music comedy duo The Stevenson Experience. The brothers have collectively sold more than a million books worldwide, with Benjamin’s book Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone, currently being adapted for HBO.

Some of Australia’s top female comedians will take the stage for Frocking Hilarious, hosted by Claire Hooper. The afternoon of laughter will support ActionAid’s mission to promote women’s rights worldwide.
