Corporate Travel Management (CTM) has appointed energy specialist James Spence to the role of Global Chief Financial Officer, commencing May 27 2024.
Mr Spence’s career spans 30 years, with more than 13 years’ experience as a CFO for large international businesses across Australasia, North America and Europe.
Mr Spence has a breadth of financial experience in strategy, risk management, M&A and capital markets.
The appointment was made after a six-month recruitment process, following the departure of previous Global CFO Cale Bennet in July 2024.
Acting Global CFO James Patterson will continue to support the business and the incoming Global CFO in the Group Finance team.
CTM Managing Director Jamie Pherous said the changes would add an increased depth of experience to help deliver an ambitious five-year growth strategy.
“I would like to welcome James Spence to the CTM team, and to thank James Patterson for his significant contribution as Acting CFO,” Mr Pherous said.
The CTM Board also thanked Mr Patterson for his continued support and significant contribution as Acting Global CFO.
