Law firm McCullough Robertson Lawyers has announced the appointments of new partners in Brisbane and Sydney.
Hayley Mitchell will join the Estates team in Brisbane while Anthony Rotili continues the McR expansion in Sydney as part of the Finance team.
Ms Mitchell joins McR from Cooper Grace Ward where she spent five years as a partner.
She has significant expertise in estate advisory work, superannuation death benefit disputes, estate planning and estate administration.
She is also a dual-accredited specialist in Succession Law (Queensland) and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.
Mr Rotili is returning to the firm after 11 years in various legal roles at National Australia Bank, including senior leadership roles, where he provided front end transactional support to NAB’s Business and Private Bank and Corporate and Institutional Bank.
McR Joint Managing Partner Guy Humble said the appointments added depth to the firm’s Estates practice and McR Private offering, and built on the Finance capability nationally and the growth of the Sydney office.
“Since 1926 our firm has been built on establishing deep and long-term relationships across our diversified client base, from private clients through to corporates, government and financial institutions,” he said.
“This approach is integral to the future of McCullough Robertson as we adapt to and support our clients in a world of constant change.”
Chair of Partners Kristan Conlon said: “I am delighted to welcome Hayley to the partnership and to see Anthony return to the firm as a partner.
“I know our people will benefit from Hayley and Anthony’s focus on mentorship and development, and our clients will benefit from their experience and approachable manner.”
