Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter Roberta Flack has died aged 88.
American music and entertainment magazine Billboard said Flack, who was reported as passing away “peacefully surrounded by her family”, bridged sophisticated pop and vintage soul with her songs.
After her death on Monday (February 24), the company compiled a list of her Top 10 Billboard hits, which included the well-known Number 1s Killing Me Softly With His Song and The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.
Billboard said across her career she produced 18 Top 100 songs.
