A three-tower development, housing more than 600 units, is planned for a South Brisbane site adjoining the proposed location of the Brisbane 2032 International Broadcasting Centre.

Heidelberg Materials Australia has lodged a development application with Brisbane City Council for the parcel of land at 14 and 19 Nott St.

The plans show three 50-storey towers, which if approved would be one of the tallest developments outside the Brisbane CBD.

Standing at 167.8m , the towers would boast 620 units, including 187 four-bedroom apartments, 185 three-bedroom, 122 two-bedroom and 96 one-bedroom units.

The proposed plans also show 5400m² of public parkland, retail spaces and community amenities, including ground and podium level pools, outdoor gyms, barbeque areas and dining spaces.

Applications documents state the project adopts a “towers-in-plaza” arrangement, integrating subtropical architectural elements such as deep balconies, vertical greenery, and dynamic shading devices to suit Brisbane’s climate.

It states the ground-level design emphasises public connectivity with landscaped streetscapes, retail tenancies, and pedestrian-friendly forecourts.

“Specialty retail offerings at the podium and ground levels, combined with landscaped public spaces, aim to enhance the livability and connectivity of the area”
